Life Is Messy

Before you visit we want you to know  we're not a perfect church and we're not perfect people. We don't care how you dress or how many tattoos you have.  We don't care who you vote for.  All we care about is you and Jesus.

We are a community of imperfect people who don't have it all together.  We are a family of people who want to serve Jesus together, despite our flaws.  Wherever you come from, you are welcome here.

What to Expect

If you've never been to Crosspointe, here's some things to expect:

Normal people. We love new faces!  Sometimes, it's hard for us to recognize them.  Just tell one of us, "I'm new here," and we'll help you find your way around!

Casual atmosphere. We care about you, not what you have on.  Grab some coffee, enjoy the atmosphere, and make yourself at home. There isn’t a dress code!

A safe, fun place for kids.  If you bring your kids, you’ll check them in and out each Sunday using a special system and our volunteers will monitor the halls during the service. Babies and toddlers are cared for by loving volunteers. There’s a a place just for kids for grades one through six. All of our kids ministry volunteers have an incredible heart for kids and families.

Singing/Lord's Supper.  We believe that everyone can worship God.  We come together in A Cappella (without instruments) singing, so we can worship God together with our voice. Don't feel obligated to sing, or don't think you have to be a professional singer to belt it out!  We believe God smiles when His people sing to Him, no matter our skill level.  Also, we take the Lord's Supper (Communion) every Sunday as the main part of our worship gatherings.  Trays are passed through each row, so don't worry about having to get up in front of anyone.  Don't feel like you have to take it if you’re not comfortable.

Practical teaching. The Bible isn't complicated. We believe it is the infallible, unchanging Word from God Himself.  It is our guide to living the way God desires us to live.  Since it is that important, we strive to make every class, message, or study as practical as possibly.  We believe that just knowing is only half of our responsibility.  The other part is what we do with what we know.  That's application.
